Hurricane season (June 1 – November 30) is upon us, and Moss Landscaping is working to be as prepared as possible. We hope that by sharing this information with you now – before a storm becomes imminent – your property will be better positioned in the event of an emergency.
Evaluate Your Property
We strongly encourage you to walk your property in advance of storm activity. Evaluating areas of concern and identifying items that need to be secured before a storm helps prevent property damage. We suggest securing smaller items that may become hazardous in high winds, such as flowerpots, patio furniture, water hoses, and barbecue pits.
As of November 2024, Moss Landscaping no longer offers large-scale tree services, including tree removal, pruning, and tree climbing. For these needs, we are happy to recommend reputable companies in the area that specialize in large-scale tree care.
Please note that Moss Landscaping does not provide the following services:
- Large tree removals
- Boarding up windows
Post-Storm Procedures and Services
Our post-storm procedures and service prioritization are as follows:
- Post-Storm Assessments: Assess your property to identify any damage. If your property is affected, please report any issues to your Account Manager. Be sure to include photos when possible. Repairs will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. You may report damage via email, phone call, or text.
- Resume Maintenance Schedule: Regular maintenance schedules will resume as soon as possible.
